Who builds it

findingrehab.io is published by The Promise Digital LLC (Parker, Colorado) and run by one person: Hunter Shepard. He chose the sources, wrote the guides and wrote these policies. He is not a clinician, and nothing on this site is medical advice. When the site says "we," that is who it means.

He is the founder of Automate Admits Inc. Automate Admits makes admissions software for treatment programs. Its tools help programs answer the calls, texts and messages they get from people asking about care.

That means we sell software to the same kind of programs that are listed here. Some programs in this directory may be Automate Admits customers. We think you should know that before you use the site.

Our conflict of interest, and how we handle it

A company that sells to treatment programs could be tempted to push people toward its customers. Here are the rules we follow so that does not happen:

• Claiming is free, and paid Verified Partner subscriptions and Sponsored tiers are clearly labeled and flat rate. Claiming and editing a baseline profile in the provider portal is always free. Profiles carrying the Verified by findingrehab.io badge have passed our team's primary source check of their license, accreditation, leadership and intake line. Founding editorially verified profiles are verified at no cost, while programs that subscribe to a paid Verified Partner membership in the provider portal (for dedicated call forwarding, analytics, and Paubox insurance verification forms) carry a Paid disclosure on their badge. Sponsored showcase slots are always labeled Sponsored on the card. All paid tiers are sold at flat monthly rates in the provider portal and never priced per call, lead or admission. Our advertising policy and verification methodology set out the rules.
• Software customer status never matters. Whether a program is an Automate Admits software customer never changes whether it is listed, what its listing says, or where it appears in results.
• We do not sell leads to brokers or unrelated programs. Browsing listings, filtering by coverage, and using the Admissions Concierge require no personal or health data. If you choose to submit an optional insurance verification form on a participating verified program profile, your submission is delivered via HIPAA compliant Paubox encrypted email only to that specific program's admissions team (with a non PHI reference alert to our operator) to coordinate your benefits check, and is not stored in our website database. • The concierge is not an Automate Admits product. It is a simple tool built for this site. It runs in your browser and does not connect to Automate Admits or to any program.
• No referral fees. Nobody pays us a commission, a finder's fee or a per admission payment for sending someone to a program. Verified Partner memberships and Sponsored placements are sold at a flat monthly price, never by the call, lead or admission.
• How placement and sorting work. Subscribing Sponsored programs and paid Verified Partners appear in labeled top of page showcases, and Verified Partners appear first among matching sitewide search results. Below the top showcases, state directory tables sort by name, city or distance, and the concierge ranks programs by how many of your answers their listing matches, then by distance.

If any of these rules change, we will say so on this page and explain what changed.

Our editorial policy spells out the rest: what we check, what we do not check, how often the listings are updated, and how we handle a correction or a takedown request.

How the site makes money

Baseline directory listings and claiming or customizing a profile in our provider portal are completely free. Licensed facilities that pass our credential check can upgrade in the provider portal to our flat-rate Verified Partner tier to unlock the Verified badge, dedicated call forwarding and analytics, and on-page Paubox insurance verification forms, or reserve a clearly labeled Sponsored showcase slot. Every paid tier is billed at a flat monthly rate to verified treatment centers and never priced per call, lead or admission.

Our advertising policy says what we will offer, what we will not run, and where placements appear. If that changes, this page changes with it.

Where the listings come from

Search indexed baseline listings are corroborated against primary federal, registry, and provider sources (SAMHSA FindTreatment.gov, SAMHSA 2025 National Directory of Treatment Facilities, CMS NPPES NPI Registry, Official facility websites), compiled alongside public treatment directory inventories on 18 and 19 Sep 2026. Each baseline profile names the specific federal, NPI, or provider website sources matched to that facility, while uncorroborated single source records remain excluded from search indexing until corroborated or claimed. For our 17,000+ baseline listings, we have not independently verified every clinical credential with the program yet. For profiles carrying the Verified by findingrehab.io badge, our team has checked the program's license, accreditation, leadership and intake line, and the profile shows the date. This site is new

findingrehab.io opened to the public on 25 September 2026, and we are still building it. What is here is real, and what we have not checked is marked on every page. Things will keep changing: more of the phone numbers confirmed, more programs claimed by the people who run them, and a licensed clinician reading the guides. The editorial policy says what we check and what we do not.
