What "lists TRICARE" means here
A listing names TRICARE when the program says so on its public profile, or when a government record we matched to it says so. It is not proof that the program has a contract with TRICARE, and it says nothing about your particular plan.
Plans differ inside one insurer. A program can be in network for one TRICARE plan and out of network for another, and in network and out of network change what you pay, often by thousands of dollars.
Before you travel or start treatment, call the program, give them your plan name and member ID, and ask whether they are in network for that plan and what you would owe. Then call the number on your insurance card and ask the same question.
